Things are still screwy and unbelievable in Kim land, but I haven't forgotten my blog. More and more tiring apologies though, but maybe you will find this interesting. I painted these the other day, it is a stylized version of a Death's Head Moth.

Clothes posts to come, I just haven't felt very inspired lately. I'm working on 1hr of sleep today.

I'm Back!

Sorry for the longer than expected absense, but I am back and feeling better.

I went thrifting yesterday, which is something that I haven't done in a long while! I picked up this dress for the amazing price of $2.50. The tag says, The House of Nu-Whu Toronto Canada. It is an old tag, micely stitched.

My intent is to shorten the dress by taking off the bottom ruffle, which will make it look a little more modern:

Hyattus

Hello all. I am going to be going on hyattus for a couple days. I have had a bad week and an even worse past 2 days, so I need some time to myself. I will be back on Tuesday or Wednesday with more pictures!

A Fresh Start

Yesterday was amazing! We all piled into the car and made the 4 hour drive to Mount Tremblant in Quebec. It is the highest ski hill in Eastern Canada. I have never been there in the summer, but it was incredible as you will see from the pictures. We bought tickets and rode up to the top in the goldola. At the top there were picturesque 360* views, and at the bottom of the hill is a village reminiscent of old Quebec City.

I am back from my sweltering week in Toronto and am really looking forward to tomorrow! A friend and I are going dt Kingston to see the Buskers, have a drink on some patios and most importantly, plan for our Greece trip this fall! Since we began planning the trip, I have run into 2 other groups of people that are doing the same thing. Seems like a pretty popular destination. We are planning on island hopping, starting in Athens then working our way through Santorini, Mykonos, Crete and maybe venture over to Turkey. I have found a shoe designer that seems to be popping up everywhere lately. Jeffrey Campbell designs seem to be on everyones feet lately. Check out some of his designs from this summers line. My favourite designs are his wedges, they are amazing.

Someone Fabulous

I want to talk about someone fantastic. I don't know about anyone else, but I love Erin Kaplan! Yes she is tough and hot headed on that show The City, but I love her work ethic and her style. Here are a couple photos of her for her Elle magazine shoot. The first one is my favourite, I love this outfit.

The Salon Prize

Happy Canada Day

Hope you all had a great Canada Day! I spent mine out at Petrie Island in Orleans.

Karaoke in the beer tent!

There were some bands playing on the beach, and we went down to see our friend Eric and his band the St-Cyr Band.

There were police all over the place. On bikes, on foot and on ATV's..made it a little stressful trying to drink our beers on the beach.
