Clothing Show Part Deux

My friend and I spent so much time at certain stall on Friday, that I didn't get around to seeing everything. That is why I had to go back today and see the rest...plus cash-in on any last day sales that the designers might have. Here are some designer things I found.

This one is crazy!! It is silver chain that was actually knitted!! It is done by the amazing Lissa Brunet. She makes THE most unique jewelry I've seen.

MizDragonfly is where I got my necklace on Friday. Here is another necklace I was eyeing up, but didn't buy. the chain was a little big for me. If no one buys it, I might buy it off her Etsy shop.

HUGE Vintage Sale Toronto, Saturday ONLY

Hello vintage lovers! If you are in or near the Toronto area this weekend, you MUST check out the Absolutely Vintage Sale at: Maple Cottage 62 Laing Street, Toronto M4L 2N4.

The sale is going to be put on by Gababout Vintage, Angela McCool and Eclectisaurus. All items have been collected from estates around Ontario and the sale features men's and women's clothing from 1890s to 1970's, antique jewelry, accessories, furnishings and textiles. So literally everything and anything a vintage lover could want! Depending on news from Toronto, I might be travelling up there to have a peek this weekend. My New Bag

I love my new Francois Marot bag! It is the perfect size and adds great colour!

Today we took a road trip to Brockville and am I glad we did! If you are ever in the Brockville Ontario area, you MUST stop by Gilbert's Emporium. It is this amazing little vintage shop that has everything from fur coats to belts to jewelry and brands from Hudson's Bay to GUCCI. I spent at least an hour in that little shop and chatted up the store owner who was a doll! She jets off to Paris twice a year and brings back the most amazing things.

If you are around my age and live in Canada then you KNOW about Road to Avonlea and Wind At My Back. Well, the owner of this store provided the costumes for both shows. Quite an amazing store with a great owner.

Sleeping Caps and Vintage Hats

Last week le family and I went antiquing in the Picton area, and came across a fantastic vintage store! Unfortunately it wasn't open at time and all I could do was drool and fog up their window. Well, today being a do nothing day I ventured to Belleville and spend at least 1.5 hours in the place. It is the most incredible and affordable vintage store I have ever been in. All the clothing and accessories are in perfect condition and the variety is staggering. There was a whole wall dedicated to hats! The furs, the shoes, the gloves!

I couldn't leave without picking up a jem or two. I ended up getting 2 vintage hats. One with mink fur and beaver. On the fur debate, I do not buy new fur, but I will wear older vintage pieces. The woman from the gallery was amazing! She kept getting me to try on hats, and I loved them all. She took my number just in case she needs a model for them. Neat!

This cuff is mom's but now vintage. I love the geometric patterns on it. I love it.
